IC-756PRO FEATURES

    A newly designed 32-bit floating point DSP This refined DSP provides noise reduction and auto notch, plus the following new features:
    • AGC loop operation - IF filter and notch circuits are included into DSP loop, which allows wider dynamic range.
    • Digital IF filter - with 51 selectable bandwidths. In order to apply PSK-31 and other digital operation modes, it is possible to make the bandwidth for SSB filter to 50Hz.
    • Low distortion, RF type speech compressor - Transmit bandwidth is selectable: 2.0kHz, 2.6kHz, and 2.9kHz.
    • Built-in RTTY demodulator / dual peak APF. - An RTTY (baudot) demodulator and decoder circuit are built-in. 2 peak frequencies can be selected by setting the shift width for RTTY operation. The receive character for RTTY appears on the screen.
    • Microphone equalizer - A total of 121 AF characteristics are selectable
    • Manual notch function - attenuation level: 70 dB

  • TFT 5 inch color LCD - A first in HF transceivers! Provides a wider viewing angle and increased display of information. The following items are displayed on the LCD:

  • Digital twin pass band tuning (PBT) - digitally narrows the passband width at the DSP to efficiently eliminate interfering signals. Operating the PBT at the DSP allows sharper, superior passband width characteristics for removal of unwanted signals.
  • Real-time spectrum scope - selectable sweep range: ±12.5 kHz, ±25kHz, ±50kHz, ±100kHz
  • Dual watch - the IC-756PRO can receive 2 signals on the same frequency band simultaneously. Conveniently monitor a DX station while operating on another frequency.

OPTIONS

  • IC-4KL HF 1 kW LINEAR AMPLIFIER This is an all solid-state, full-duty 1 kW linear amplifier including an automatic antenna tuner. The IC-4KL is fully controllable from the IC-775/DSP. No need to tune and no need to switch the operating band. Full break-in (QSK) operation is possible. The amplifier/power supply unit and the remote control unit are separated.
  • IC-2KL HF 500 W LINEAR AMPLIFIER This is an all solid-state 500 W linear amplifier. The power amplifier unit can be separately set-up from the power supply unit.
  • IC-AT500 500 W automatic antenna tuner. Best match for the IC-775/DSP with the IC-2KL. Includes an automatic antenna selector for 4 separate antennas.
  • EX-627 AUTOMATIC ANTENNA SELECTOR Automatically selects the antenna for the selected ham band. Manual selection is also possible. Max. input power: 1000 W PEP
